2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server location is Nuremberg, Germany. At the infrastructure level (network, hypervisor), Hetzner may process technical connection data. Information on this can be found in Hetzner's privacy policy: hetzner.com/de/legal/privacy-policy

As a reverse proxy, the server uses Traefik, managed via the deployment platform Coolify. For technical operation, Traefik may briefly process connection data such as IP addresses. These are not stored permanently and serve solely to provide the website and ensure its operational security. The Nuxt application itself writes no access logs and stores no personal usage data.

3. Cookies and analytics

This website uses no cookies and transmits no data to third-party providers such as Google Analytics or similar services.

For analytics we use the self-hosted, data-minimising software Umami. Umami works without cookies, without cross-device identifiers and without building personal profiles. Only anonymised usage data is collected (e.g. pages visited, approximate origin at country level, browser type used); it is not possible to draw conclusions about individual people, and the data does not leave our own server environment hosted in Germany. Your IP address is only processed briefly on the server side to recognise repeat visits and determine the approximate origin; it is not stored, but merely fed into a daily-changing, irreversible key value. The statistical data collected in this way is kept for a maximum of 14 months and then deleted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis and improvement of our offering pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Since this website itself neither stores nor reads any cookies or other data on your device that are not strictly necessary for operating the site, no consent banner and no consent under § 25 TDDDG is required for this.

4. External links

The legal notice of this website contains links to unsplash.com to credit the photos used. When you click these links, your IP address and a referrer parameter are transmitted to Unsplash. We have no influence over this data processing. Unsplash privacy policy: unsplash.com/privacy

5. Contact form

When you use the contact form, I process the data you provide (first and last name, email address, optionally phone number, the selected intent and topic, and your message) in order to handle and answer your enquiry. In addition, the time and the version of the privacy notice you confirmed are logged so that your consent can be evidenced.

The legal basis for enquiries aimed at a contractual or business relationship is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

For the technical receipt and reliable delivery of the form message by email, I use a central delivery service I operate myself ("hommrich-hub"), running on the same server infrastructure hosted in Germany (Hetzner, see section 2). The actual email dispatch is handled by the provider Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH), Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany, acting as a processor on the basis of a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Your details are used exclusively to handle your enquiry and are not used for advertising purposes. I delete the data as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
